Dr. McCarthy is originally from rural North Dakota. After graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1998, she moved to Boise. She has been practicing in the Treasure Valley for 28 years. She and her husband have 3 adult children. In her spare time, she enjoys crossword and jigsaw puzzles, movies and traveling.
